Clarification

I had signed off the computer for the night an hour ago but, just a quick note while I am thinking about it.  In my testimony blog post I mentioned evils and crimes commited by my brother Richard. While visiting with a friend recently I mentioned my step brother, Tom.  I realized that the friend, and many other of my friends don't know my family, so if I just say my brother or my step-brother they don't know who I am talking about. My full brother, Richard, is the one mentioned in my testimony. Richard is currently in prison and even when he gets out I will have no contact with him. This is not due to unforgivness, this is due to a need for my daughters safety and my own. I should also note that my father has the same name but my father has commited no such crimes and neither has my step brother. I currently have a good relationship with both my father and my step brother, who have never done anything to harm me or my daughter. I had another brother, a half brother, who was born premature and died at only about 1 week old.  When I talk about my step brother I say "step brother", not to denote any family distance but to differentiate between my brother and step brother. My step brother I do think of just as a brother, he is a very nice and thoughtful person and I love him as my brother.
I just wanted to note this in case any of my friends ever hear me mention my step-brother, that they will know this is a different brother than the one mentioned in my blog.
